2025 Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival

It was as a truly special one for us at Chickie's & Pete's! We were honored to be part of Heather & Eric’s wedding celebration and to help make their big day even more memorable. It’s moments like these that remind us how meaningful Chickie’s is to so many people, not just as a place to eat, but as a place where memories are made. We’re incredibly grateful to have played a small role in such a big moment. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Surprise !!! We eloped at Chickie’s & Pete’s—because of course, we did. After 10+ years of nights at this exact location, we made it official right where it all began.

Pete himself and the manager were our witnesses (yes, they actually signed our marriage license), and the staff went above and beyond—decked out our table, gave us cake, a goodie basket, and a celebration we’ll never forget.

We ate crab fries, crab legs, and now… our photo’s going on THE wall.

Earlier this season, Chickie’s & Pete’s teamed up with A.J. to launch a limited-time wing flavor inspired by one of his personal favorites, the AJ Brown Sweet Heat wings.  A portion of the proceeds from every order went directly to support A.J. Brown’s foundation.

This week, Chickie’s & Pete’s officially presented A.J. Brown with a check totaling $11,000, a donation made possible by fans, food, and the Philadelphia community. The check was awarded at the Chickie's & Pete's South Philly location, where A.J. took a moment to thank the team, the fans, and the Chickie’s & Pete’s family for helping bring more awareness and resources to his foundation.

A Philly favorite, Chickie's & Pete's crabfries are selling for $1 all day in honor of National French Fry Day.

Chickie's & Pete's annually hosts its Crabfries for Heroes event, which benefits the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Survivor Fund.

All sales from their dollar crabfries on July 12, 2024, will be donated to the fund with the goal of making a significant difference in the lives of the families of fallen police officers.

"We look forward to this every year. It's one of our favorite Chickie's & Pete's traditions, Crabfries for Heroes benefiting the FOP Survivors Fund. It's an honor to be able to give back to such a great organization," Pete Ciarrocchi, Chairman and CEO of Chickie's & Pete's said.

Crabfries for Heroes started as a simple idea to say "thank you" to police officers for their service and dedication to their communities.

After seeing the need firsthand, Pete Ciarrocchi and his team decided to make a major commitment to The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Survivors Fund.

Chickie's and Pete's Free Toll Friday is set to run from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on May 24, 2024. Basically for that hour, drivers rolling through the eastbound Egg Harbor Toll Plaza of the Atlantic City Expressway won't have to pay the toll, which starts at $4.70 in cash.

“Free Toll Friday is one of my favorite summertime traditions,” Chickie’s & Pete’s Chairman and CEO Pete Ciarrocchi said in a news release. “It’s a great way to thank all those who have supported us over the years and kick off the summer in a fun way. It also signifies the official start of summer!"
